This contract will be for one year.
The First Nation of Nacho Nyak Dun is going through a time of growth and has many projects underway. Policies in some of the departments require updating and/or development of new policies.
The NND is seeking an experienced Policy Writer to facilitate this process. Scope of work includes:
➢ Meeting with Council and the Executive Director to determine policy needs and finalize Terms of Reference
➢ Conducting interviews with each Department Head to determine which policies require updating or where new policies need to be developed.
➢ Gathering information from staff as identified by Department Directors/Mangers
➢ Developing draft policies and working with departments to finalize content
➢ Produce final policy manuals for each Department.
➢ Meet with appropriate departmental staff to review policies and answer questions.
➢ Follow up meetings with Executive Director or his designate as required.

➢ Credentials including experience working with Yukon First Nations
➢ Proposed project plan
➢ Cost estimate including expenses.
➢ Three references
