Acclamation – As per Section 5.16: “Where this is only one candidate for an office, whether upon certification of the list of candidates or as a result of proceedings under 5.11, 5.12, or 5.13 and 5.14, the Election Committee shall declare that candidate to be elected by acclamation to that office, and there shall be no further obligation to complete the election procedures set out hereunder.”
Carolene Lucas was the only candidate with a nomination package submitted by Close of Nominations on Friday, March 17th, 2023 by 4:30 p.m. I thereby acclaim Carolene Lucas as the Youth Councillor.

Other Voting Options:
Mail-in Ballots: can be used by any eligible voter upon request.
Proxy Voting: can be used by an eligible voter who will be absent from the Yukon.
Special Ballots: are to be used by eligible voters who are housebound, unable to vote in person at either the Advance Poll or on Election Day or if you temporarily reside in a transition home.

Please verify your name is on the Voters List and if not please contact the NND registrar of citizens! Any requests for revisions to the list shall be directed to the Chief Electoral Officer.
