Job Opportunity: Victoria Gold Liaison


This position will appeal to someone who has some experience working within a liaison capacity in a
First Nations organization and is interested in learning and working in the mining industry in
public relations.

Reporting to the Manager, Lands and Resources, the NND Liaison is responsible for the
administration and implementation of the FNNND responsibilities agreed to in the Comprehensive
Cooperation and Benefits Agreement (CBA) with Victoria Gold Corporation (VG).


We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in the mining industry and wants to help
develop and identify social, health, educational, training and economic benefits and impacts for
our community. You will need to be neutral and have the ability to foster positive relationships
and duality in honoring and upholding values of the Nation and the Corporation.


You will have formal education of a two-year diploma program in Education (Adult), Career
Counselling or Business Administration or a related field along with two-three years of related
experience. Knowledge of the First Nation Government, the social structure of the community and of
Victoria Gold is of importance.

You must be familiar with the use of standard office equipment and demonstrated computer skills
using Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Special Working Conditions
Some travel outside to Victoria Gold site may be required, which is located in an isolated area
outside of Mayo. A relevant Criminal Records Check and Class 5 Drivers License is required.

This is a full-time position: 75 hours bi-weekly. Salary range is from $31.60 – $41.67 per hour. An
underfill situation may be considered. FNNND offers a competitive benefits package.
