This position will appeal to someone who has some experience or desire working in janitorial services. Reporting to the Manager, Housing, the Custodian is responsible for ensuring our facilities and venues are immaculate and professionally presentable for our Guests and Citizens.
We are looking for someone who likes to clean, precise to detail in sorting clutter, able to work independently and have a sense of pride in showcasing our beautiful Government House and other facilities. This person will be reliable, motivated and ambitious in getting the job done within the maximum scope of hours required for thorough health and safety standards.
You will have security clearance, good oral and written communication skills and have the willingness to take the required certifications (i.e. First Aid CPR, WHIMIS, etc.) to fulfill this position.
This is a full-time indeterminate position: 60 hours bi-weekly. Salary range is from $24.91 – $32.70 per hour. The FNNND offers a competitive benefits package.
