This position will appeal to someone who has some experience working within communications or
public relations within a First Nation organization. Reporting to the Director, Governance and
Justice, the Communications Officer is responsible for the development and implementation of
FNNND’s internal and external communication strategies.

interpreting what is heard. You must be able to attain confidentiality, receive the right message
through facts and able to transcribe publications that is suitable and fits the Nation in

You must be familiar with the use of standard office equipment and demonstrated computer skills
using Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Special Working Conditions
A relevant Criminal Records Check and Class 5 Drivers License is required.
This is a full-time position: 75 hours bi-weekly. Salary range is from $31.60 – $41.67 per hour. An
underfill situation may be considered. The FNNND offers a competitive benefits package.
