We have a new process for hiring Substitute teachers in rural communities. Applicants interested in substitute teaching in your schools will no longer be required to apply through the Apply to Education website. An application form has been developed for applicants to fill out to submit along with their resume and other required documentation.
The documentation that the applicants will be required to complete are:
• Application form
• Hire Checklist
• TD1 and TD1YT tax forms
• E-pay form
• Direct deposit info
• Resume which must include detailed education history
• Transcripts (if applicable)
• Teaching certificate from Canadian jurisdiction (if sub is certified)
• RCMP vulnerable sector check
All of these documents must come together in one package in order to be processed in a timely manner.
